Setup & support — BeamMDT

A native BeamNG.drive mod.

BeamMDT runs on the laptop inside your cruiser. It is distributed as a ZIP mod, not an external Windows executable. The beta requests & showcase is a separate fictional sample, not a browser version of the full mod.

Installation.

For Ultra beta v0.9.9.8, administrators can choose Windows setup in Beta downloads. The branded wizard checks the profile folder, backs up older BeamMDT packages, verifies the installed ZIP and includes an uninstaller. It preserves settings and unrelated mods and leaves BeamNG closed. Earlier versions use the ZIP steps below. Upcoming installers will accompany their completed release packages.

Download a published ZIP from Lite downloads when it becomes available.
Open your active BeamNG user folder through the game launcher.
Place the ZIP in the mods folder without extracting it. Keep one active copy.
Start freeroam. Belasco City / West Coast USA is the recommended starting map.

Compatibility is being finalized.

Setup guidance targets BeamNG.drive on Windows. A tested BeamNG version range and minimum hardware requirements have not been published. The Windows-style desktop is an in-game interface. Check the release notes before downloading or purchasing.

AI & voice are optional external services.

The AI and voice services you connect may require your own provider account and charge separately. Built-in replies are available without connecting those services. The web demo makes no AI or voice requests.

Greyson Linder is listed as the developer. The optional local bridge supports microphone input and some AI and web features; follow the instructions bundled with your released version. An early-demo request form is open below; it is for access requests, not a promised support ticket channel. A support email, Discord server and social accounts have not been published yet.

Release status.

The planned launch is October 5, 2026 at 5 PM EDT. Public purchasing and mod downloads are not open yet. Private beta packages are available to administrators when signed-in beta hosting is connected. View the countdown or read the FAQ.
